Veteran’s Day

Good Morning, Today is Veteran’s Day. This is a special day to remember all those who have served our country. It also a day to think about those who are serving today abroad in the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. Today is a day to think about where we have been as a country and where we are going. It is a day to cry for those we have lost and to smile for those who were saved through their effort. Today is a day to honor and respect all the men and women in uniform.

On behalf of those who have served and are serving today, let’s make the right choice in moving mankind forward. It takes the same amount of energy to make a poor decision, a good decision and no decision at all so today let’s make a positive choice. Let us walk in faith that we can resolve territorial issues in a non-violent way.

If you know me you probably know my opinions about foreign policy and attitude towards war. Today at the veteran’s day I had to hold back tears as I listened to Vietnam Veteran’s talk about how much it means to get the recognition they were so long denied. In fact even now as I write this emotion washes over me. I have the deepest feeling of respect for these men and women. Though I can hate the war I can do nothing but love the warriors who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom, for love of country and family. Though I can despise politicians and men who plan wars I must never transfer this feeling to the men on the ground holding the rifle to protect my life and right to vote, to speak freely and to object to war. Thank you Veterans you have a special place in my heart and I hope to see all the men and women serving today to return soon and return safely. God Bless.

Looks To Kill

Your check book that is,
you see much too often I have to be the spoiler of your happiness, you just got the car you always wanted and you told the whole world how great of a deal you got, and then your dream car needs an oil change, being the only and exclusive BMW service & repair center in the A V you want to start the best care for your bimmer.

Then when you pick your car up, regretfully I hand you the state of health and the findings of your car’s conditions.
then you say ” but it runs great ” yeah I noticed a little oil leak and a little clunk noise, ” but the guy said is was minor” you see those minor repairs could be minor to one of the Forbes magazine inductees, but to the general working class, it could kill your check book.

What I’m trying to say is, before you buy any used car have it checked up by an expert in the brand you’re buying
if it’s a BMW or Mini you will will thank me for your peace of mind and we’ll be friends or you’ll hate me for spoiling your happiness.

and remember “It’s better to ask a dumb question than make a dumb mistake”

Mr Bimmer

Vic’s Bimmer Shop was founded on June 1st, 1987 with only one purpose in mind,
to be the only EXCLUSIVE independent BMW repair facility throughout the Antelope Valley
and High Desert area. To this day we still are.
