AV Artist Doug Oliver Showcased @ Graphic Experience

661.945.1718 Doug Oliver has been a significant contributor to the art of the American West for more than three decades. His landscape images of soaring skies and panoramic vistas are well known throughout the contemporary art world.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio relocating with his family to California as a young boy. The grandeur of the western landscape had a profound influence on him

Doug Oliver is a contemporary acrylic artist, a former Antelope Valley resident, who is a very talented and fabulous painter ! I quote from his biography, he “creates soaring landscapes through a symphonic marriage of sky and shape. This maestro of his medium combines solid rolling vistas with majestic skies forming his own unique perspective of the grand views of the southwest.Untrammeled and untamed, Oliver’s landscapes promote a sense of strength and solitude found rarely in an increasingly complex world. Every vision created by Oliver rises and swells in a melodic and aria-like fashion.”

Traditionally trained at Chouinard Art Institute and receiving his Masters of Art from University of Redlands, California, Oliver conducted his career first as an instructor and then, eventually, as a Fine Artist. Over the years Douglas Oliver has donated his talents in several major philanthropic endeavors.

Doug Oliver is represented by some of the finest galleries in the West including the May Galleries, Scottsdale, AZ; Avant-Garde Gallery, Sedona,AZ; Aspen Grove Fine Art,Aspen,CO.; Mountain Artists Guild, Prescott, AZ.

We, at the Graphic Experience,Lancaster, CA are honored to represent him also ! Visit our website at to see some examples of his work. We also carry his prints too !
