Chris Spicher Loves Sheep and Lancaster Flowers

My daughter eva lives in seattle.  Eva was born and raised in lancaster, so she came back to visit last weekend.  Eva and I went to Bex, , saw the bikini dancers, the coool bowling alley. Next day we came down and met Jim Greenleaf on the BLVD@ the ilivetoday cafe{ actualy theblvdtodaycafe}… , then we went to look @ the wildflowers, thats when we saw the lambs, that are in this video.  .  Yesterday we took our time going back to the airport, lunch @ elephant bar…eva @ seattleeyeglasses.com….

Lancaster’s Florist Keeps running into old friends!

Sat for coffee the other day, a familiar face, “hi Mr Long”, you were my sunday school teacher @ Grace Lutheran , 3rd grade…Richard Long, 89 yrs old, retired from the Gas Co 1967!, I would often see him walking to work. Hey Mr Long, good news despite the kid I was in school, I grew up , you efforts are appreciated, “thank you”

How to Keep Flowers Fresh – Lancaster/Palmdale

Making flowers last longer.  Begin with fresh flowers.  Remove the leaves and clean the portion of the stem that will be under or near the water in a clean vase.  Clean, clear water @ room temperature is best.  Remember to change the water daily, and when you do, also recut the flower stems.  Give all flowers a fresh cut with a knife or snippers, woody stems can be pounded. Flowers normally only intake water at the bottom of their stems.  This increases water intake.  Flowers like conditions, cool, dark, no breeze, moisture.  Some types of flowers last a day, some last a couple weeks, this is nature, even though man has attempted to jump in and improve it…questions call us @888.948.6006, AV Florist 

Antelope Valley’s Best Florist 2011

Mother’s Day Flowers in the Antelope Valley

Mothers DAY!!! Its always been a huge flower Holiday, we celebrate it all week.  Its never too soon to send Mom flowers, she loves em!  If your Mother has passed remember her, and in addition might I suggest you adopt   a”Mom”.  As I said we will be delivering all week, friday May 6 and Saturday May 7 being our biggest days, we love to deliver, maybe we can take a picture of Mom and send it to you, give us your email address.  Fresh flowers are appropriate, its a crazy time for specifics, we suggest a mixed bouquet of the best and brightest flowers, predominately in the white, pink, lavender range, in town $40,50, 65 and up, out of town through FTD, $50, 65, 80…order early, but we cater to anyone, anytime, best to you from AV Florist, we love our Mom

The flower shop had several left over floral displays from last week. I took a few arrangements over to my favorite mexican restaurant . Lupe at Casita Lopez was thrilled when I came in with the flowers and several patrons bought flowers at a bargain price.  I met two customers. What a great way to begin a day!
